Only a handful of bridges around the world have achieved iconic status, and Tower Bridge is one of them. Judging by its name and appearance, you might think the bridge is an original part of the adjacent Tower of London. Its construction, however, was completed in 1894, centuries after the fortress. Head into one tower and up to the walkway 42 m (138 ft) above the River Thames to reach the other tower. You'll have a panoramic view of the city along the way. Stop by the exhibit in the east walkway to watch a video about the bridge's construction, and to see a gallery of photos of 20 significant bridges around the world. Head into the Victorian engine rooms, where you can experience a recreation of the motor-based operation of the bridge at the time of its inauguration and view a virtual bridge-lift. If your visit to the area will be near dusk, stop to see the bridge lit up. Plan my London trip by asking Inpirock to come up with tips and suggestions.

Tower Bridge Reviews
One of the more intriguing places to visit in London, this place offers visitors to opportunity to visit and to be part of one of the most iconic building in the world, London’s Tower Bridge. The experience is purely enchanting! The bridge offers visitors the chance to see across London from high up and to look down on the main roads below via the see through glass panel! There’s also the information centre that gives visitors the chance to learn about the operations of the bridge, past and present! You can use your London Pass for this! Not to be missed! Recommended to all!
The tower bridge....she is gorgeous!! I was lucky enough to attend a private event inside the bridge. It was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. I could sit and just watch it for hours. We enjoyed breakfast nearby and walked by the bridge each morning. The Tiffany Blue is just so unique and beautiful. When I often think about my amazing trip to London, I am very much reminded of this incredible view.
