Marvel at lifelike wax figures of the world's most famous actors and actresses, athletes, entertainers, and politicians at Madame Tussauds London. This is the original site of the museum that's become a franchise in nine other cities around the globe. Wax sculptor Marie Tussaud established the museum in 1884, and today it houses over 300 figures. The figures on display change frequently to keep up with the times, but you can expect to find sculptures of famous people from both the past and present. After viewing the exhibits, sit for a 4-D movie on a 360-degree screen, and then enter the Scream! house of horrors. Purchase your tickets online before you visit to reduce both the price of admission and your wait to enter. • Entry very bad indicated, there were some queues everywhere no one knew where we needed to go for a ticket! Finally once disappointed inside, the crowd was very dense mannequins are disposed everywhere without indication and a screening room or everyone pushes himself to get into translation for the animation, which is not bad when even! There is no organization we've been very disappointed. 30 pounds per person it's a shame because the characters are really beautiful realistic

  • A great place to see, it’s very unlikely you will ever get that close to a celebrity,so this is the next best thing. A great attraction I couldn’t believe you could get so close to the models, my favo...  more »

  • Really not impressed. I thought the queue down the road was ridiculously long until we got inside and found out that it was just as long there as well. We queued for over 2 hours only to be told that we couldn't go straight in, but were given an admission time later in the day! Seriously not impressed! We went off and had some lunch and a wander around. When we returned at our allotted time, it was thankfully only a 5 minute wait until we were admitted. Although it was naturally busy inside, we were able to take photos with any of the models that we wanted to. Some are obviously more popular than others, but you just wait your turn. I wasn't impressed either with having to pay extra to get up close to Prince Harry & Megan, so I didn't - I left that to the gullible tourists. There was another section that cost extra to go into, which I also refused to do. I'm sure the owners would say it gives visitors a choice, but people are spending so much anyway, that an extra £5 on the ticket price to have everything included would present a better deal. Anyway, the models were very good and the whole atmosphere was excellent, but I won't be rushing back.
  • Excellent day out for the family. Brilliant, helpful staff, be sure to take advantage of the lockers so that you don't have to carry coats and bags. 4d cinema was fantastic. We ordered a birthday package as an extra and the gifts received were wonderful, highly recommended.
